I love using mindmapping, especially as a review of a chapter. Every year I have students mind map Chapter 8: Reform in America. This is a great chapter to use mindmapping as it has many sub-sections and details. It benefits the visual learners in the class and allows the artistic students a great deal more of flexibility. These students find that a mind map is a helpful tool for studying before an assessment or as something to use when writing.
